Hi! I'm Melissa Black!
My husband and I, along with our three children, moved here to the Shoals just over twelve years ago. We immediately fell in love with the area and the people. The Shoals area is such a beautiful place to live. I specifically remember our Realtor. She was so helpful and I thought then, " Wow, what a cool job!". The thought of helping people find their home was appealing to me. I have since owned my own retail business and I have also been a corporate manager for a local company for several years. In 2016, my passion for the industry drove me to become a Realtor. Now, as an experienced Realtor, I get to offer that great service to my clients that I received years ago along with my own passion.

When we first started looking at houses in the Shoals area, I drove by a house that Melissa had listed and asked if she'd show us the house and she did that same day. When we left, we looked at each other and said I think we found our Realtor. Melissa asked what we were looking for and she found us a couple of houses but told us to remain patient for that one house that we could call our home. One day, my wife found a house that had just came on that market that day and I asked if we could see it the next day. Within an hour, Melissa had set up a showing. The second time that we saw the house, we put an offer in and negotiated back and forth. Melissa didn't give up until we had a deal in place. Ultimately, we agreed on an offer and she was just as excited as us! We're finally getting settled in our house and now we are starting to make it our home.
